On this page are details of applications made by Hampstead Parish Church for permission to do works in the building or the churchyards, or to introduce new items into the building.
The permission is called a Faculty, and it is similar to the planning permission process.
Public notices are posted, and people can view plans and make representations, if they wish, to the Diocese’s legal officers who will ultimately decide.
During lockdown these notices are placed not only outside church, but also online. On this page you will find a public notice and the details of each current application.
Notices posted on November 4 are for:
- The provision of a new cupboard for altar frontals
- The installation of a memorial to George Steevens (formerly in the Fitzwilliam Museum)
- The provision of an altar frontal for the Lady Chapel.
