Jeremy Fletcher The Rev'd Jeremy Fletcher
Jeremy came to Hampstead in March 2017. Ordained in 1988 to a curacy in Hartlepool, Jeremy served in parishes in Nottinghamshire before becoming Chaplain to the Bishop of Southwell. He was Precentor of York from 2002 - 2009, and Vicar of Beverley Minster from 2009 - 2017. A former member of the Liturgical Commission and of the Church Buildings Council, Jeremy is now a member of the Council of the National Society. He is married to Julia, a former solicitor and university administrator, who now works in administration for the Diocese of London. They have two grown up sons, and are enjoying London's rich cultural life, and a challenging garden.

Ayla Lepine Rev'd Dr Ayla Lepine:  Assistant Curate
Ayla arrived at Hampstead as Assistant Curate in July 2018. She grew up in Canada, moving to the UK in 2003. She was a lecturer in art and architectural history prior to training for the priesthood at Westcott House in Cambridge. She has worked for the Archbishops’ Council’s Committee for Minority Ethnic Anglican Concerns, was a chaplain at Roehampton University, has served on the Diocese of London’s Advisory Committee for the Care of Churches, and is a trustee for the charity Art and Christianity. She also enjoys travel, films, and poetry.

Jan Rushton The Rev'd Jan Rushton:  Associate Priest
Jan has been part of our community since she retired in May 2011 returning to her roots in London. Jan was vicar of St Michael and All Angels in Summertown, Oxford, before which she served in the Parish of Putney at All Saints Church, and was curate at St Mary's, Harrow on the Hill. Prior to training for ordination in Oxford Jan taught History and Humanities in the Upper Schools of the city. Jan has a passion for social justice - and for art!


Handley Stevens Dr Handley Stevens:  Reader
Handley has been a Reader since 1991, coming to Hampstead in 1998. After 30 years in the civil service, Handley has been a Visiting Research Associate at the LSE since 1994. When not writing about transport and European policies, he enjoys singing, opera, walking and gardening.

Andrew Penny Andrew Penny:  Reader
Andrew has been a member of the congregation and involved with the Sunday Schools for nearly 20 years. He was Church Warden for four years until 2011 and was elected again in 2013 to fill a gap. He is also Chair of the trustees of CARIS Camden and involved with Churches Together in Hampstead. When not cooking for his family (two adults who shouldn't need it and a teacher), walking very slowly to Santiago de Compostella and earning his living as a solicitor, he is one of our Readers.


Angela Gardner Jenny Lupa
After moving to London from America, Jenny came to Hampstead Parish Church through our Holy Hamsters services for babies and toddlers. She and her family have been members of the congregation since 2011. She was a Creche Leader, Sunday School Leader and Helper before becoming a Church Warden. Since 2013, Jenny has served as a Foundation Governor at Hampstead Parochial School and was Chair of Governors for four of those years.

Jon Siddall Jon Siddall
Jon joined the congregation in 1988 and served as Head Sidesman before becoming Churchwarden in 2015. He is also a member of the Friends of the Drama and the Friends of the Music. Jon is a charity consultant and is currently the Protector of Spirit of 2012. When off duty, he is often found on the golf course or the tennis court, and he is a keen skier. Jon is married to Nicki, herself a past churchwarden, and they have two adult daughters, Rebecca and Jo.


Maureen Smith Maureen Smith:   Youth Worker
Maureen lives locally and has worked with the Early Years throughout her career in schools and in Children’s Centres. She has led children’s work and many other areas at St Mary’s and St James’s West Hampstead. In her free time she likes visiting people in her community, walking and going to the gym. Maureen has an adult daughter.

Peter Foggitt   Peter Foggitt:   Director of Music

David Moore David Moore:  Assistant Director of Music and Director of the Junior Choir
David joined us in September 2008. He read music at Corpus Christi College, Oxford, while holding the Organ Scholarship there and has also held Organ Scholarships at Sherborne Abbey and Truro Cathedral.
