Autumn Term 2016
In the crypt of Hampstead Parish Church at 8:00 p.m.
This term we shall be begin with drinks and nibbles to celebrate the beginning of another year and our new name.
We will then continue discussing Barbara Brown Taylor’s book
The Healing Word: Gospel Medicine for the soul
(published by SPCK).
Barbara Brown Taylor is an Episcopal priest and Professor of Religion and Philosophy at Piedmont College, Georgia, USA.
She is renowned for her preaching;
this book is a collection of her sermons.
We will aim to look at one sermon each session, so it will be quite possible to dip in and out of the series.
We welcome new members and occasional visitors.
All sessions will be followed by Compline at 9:00 p.m. and we aim to finish by 9:15 p.m.
