Stations of the Cross       Judy East

We are inviting you to offer a picture to illustrate one of the stations for display in the church during Lent.  Pictures should be mounted on board so that they can stand on the ledges around the church and A2 portrait – please note this size because it fits between the memorials around the church and unlike other exhibitions we can’t arrange to suit the artwork – they have to be in the right order!

The stations are as follows with the relevant bible text included so you can look up exactly what you’re illustrating.  Please use this list – no Veronica, no falling for the first or second time, he doesn’t meet his mother, this is the list as it appears in Common Worship.

Please let me know which one you’d like to do – obviously we can’t have 2 denials and no scourging so it’ll be whoever offers first.

1    Jesus in agony in the Garden – Mark 14.32-36
