On Dedication Sunday (October 6th) we shall be holding an event after the Parish Eucharist to encourage people to volunteer for the various jobs that need doing in and around the church. Almost everything we do as a church and parish relies on voluntary help and we need your time and skills (or just a smiling face or helping hand) as much as we need your financial contribution to make the church thrive and achieve its mission.
We are immensely grateful to the army of you who already give so freely of time and money, but we always need more. So on Dedication Sunday in Stewardship month we are asking you to think how you can help; many have said that they could easily spare an hour a week for the parish- most tasks require much less that that. Please come along after the 10.30 Service to find out how you can help and let us know whether and how you might be available. Drinks have been donated to encourage you and snacks will available for flagging children.
