Tired towels? Shabby sheets? Torn trousers?
Flimsy flannel? Knackered Knickers? Mate-less mitten? Single sock?
They are all worth money, from textile recyclers, at the Children’s Society Shop, 240 West End Lane. If you do not have other items to donate, please mark your bag on the outside ‘TEXTILES’ so that the volunteers in the charity shop don’t have to sort through the bag. The manager can arrange to have someone come out to your car if you so wish.
Thank-you for thinking of The Childrens’ Society.

Don’t ‘Chuck it in the bin’ – so many things can be recycled. Even Amazon has a list of recycled gifts – my favourite is the recycled glass hanging tea-light holder, though I was rather drawn to the miniature wheelie-bin desk tidy made from recycled plastic.
