to enjoy. We want to establish a proper rota of parishioners who can give some time
regularly to sit in the church, welcome visitors and generally be a presence. There are no
tasks to perform other than to be a friendly face so you can read the newspaper or a book,
knit, mend hassocks etc. In an ideal world we would have 2 people on duty at all times but
……
For the time being we want to cover Thursday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons and all
day Wednesday. If you already know you will be in the church at any of these times ie you
have a cleaning slot or know you will be arranging flowers on a certain day it would help.
If you can offer an hour or two a week, an hour or two a month or an hour or two just once please let me know. We really need your help or the Church may have to be closed for security.
