Hampstead Parochial School
Hampstead Parochial School has its roots in a school founded by the parish church in 1787, and was established in its current form (and buildings) during the ministry of the Revd Thomas Ainger (1799 – 1863)
Hampstead Parochial is a Church of England Voluntary Aided School, with Governors appointed by the parish and the deanery. The admissions policy includes “foundation” places, where eligibility depends on church attendance. 50% of places are foundation, and 50% open. The school website has details.
Church and School have an active and thriving relationship, and Hampstead Parish Church is proud to be involved wth such a remarkable school community.
