Jet’s Song
I often think of this and that,
Thoughts that benefit a Vicar’s cat.
They saw the colour of my fur
And said “Jet’s just the name for her!”
I thought it was a charming touch,
And so I love them very much.
I really have no need to roam,
I live in such a cosy home.
Now it’s the Vicar’s special day,
The congregation shouts “hooray!”
And as he hears our happy cheers,
We hope that he will stay for years!
