We will be celebrating Her Majesty’s official 90th birthday with party on Sunday 12th June after the 10.30 Service. There will be fizz to drink (anything less would be lèse majesté) and finger food; and we’ll make sure there is something for children too.
Our neighbours in Church Row have been invited and our bunting will give it, we hope, the feel of a Street Party, while remaining in the safety of the church precinct (or in the Parish Rooms if wet).
We’ll be putting up a list at the back of church and will welcome offers of anything which can be eaten without a plate (sandwiches, sausage rolls, cheese straws etc.)
The only dress code is Red, White or Blue – or any patriotic combination, and the code may extend to the food as well.
Please come along and drink at least one loyal toast to a remarkable monarch.
