This year we are holding an Arts and Crafts Fair the last weekend in April, 27th and 28th . In addition there will be an entertainment on Saturday evening.
Stalls
We will have the usual stalls of cakes, drinks, lunches, plants, preserves, raffle, teas, tombola, tours of the churchyard and Additional Burial Ground and children’s activities
Exhibition and Demonstration
In addition we are arranging an exhibition of parishioners’ artistic skills with demonstrations wherever possible – so you could put in one woodcarving and bring your tools and demonstrate working on another. We know of some people’s skills but there are so many of you who have talents of which we know nothing!
Do please let me know your particular interest:
Bookbinding, calligraphy, ceramics, crocheting, embroidery, flower arranging, glass engraving, jewellery making, knitting, painting, patchwork, photography, pottery, sewing, stonecarving, tapestry, woodcarving.
It takes time producing such works of art, so please get going now and let us know what you can contribute!
The Events Group will next meet after the Parish Eucharist on Sunday, 24 February in the Gregory Room.
