Henry WHITE

He and his son of the same name were builders and property owners in the Holly Hill area. They also fought the Lord of the Manor over the Heath. In 1780 the father led copyholders in a successful claim to be able to dig sand and gravel on the Heath. In 1829 the son was among the first to oppose the Lord’s development plans.
