We welcome helpers of any kind ~ especially in the following areas:
Cleaning team
The Cleaning Team is led by Anne Stevens. The group gets together three or four times a year to give the church a deep clean. There is cake!

Garden duties
The Gardening Group meets on the first Saturday of each month (weather permitting) to work in the churchyards between 10am and 12 noon. Anyone is welcome to join – no great skill at gardening is required!

How to become a sidesperson
Sidesmen and women assist in the organising of Sunday services, giving out service sheets and taking the collection. It’s a great way to serve your fellow worshippers and help those new to Hampstead Parish Church.

The Coffee Team
Coffee is served after every 10.30 service, and the coffee team plays an essential role in the community life of the church.

How to become a welcomer
Every Sunday at the 10.30 service welcomers greet worshipppers and welcome them to church. Welcomers are the first point of contact with newcomers, and are a key part of the church’s including everyone who comes.

How to become a steward
During the week the church is open from 9.30 – 4.30 every day. Stewards spend an hour or two each being in church and welcoming all who come. Stewards are a friendly face, and can indicate points of interest in the building and our church life, as well as show people to the loo!
