Your help with our Mission Action Plan
As we all reflect on recent events it is also important that we think about the future into which God is calling us to serve him in Hampstead. To that end the PCC is keen that we move forward with discussions of our next Mission Action Plan, which will provide a key component of the package of information about us that will be used in the recruitment of a new Vicar.
You will remember the Parish Survey that took place in October and November. Seven key themes arising from the survey were discussed by the PCC at an Awayday in January – and a full report of the survey findings (32 pages) as well as a shorter summary (7 pages) are available from the Parish Office on request. But we would like to open up discussion of those same findings to the congregation to get your ideas on what action we might take and what priority you give to each of the seven themes.
We are therefore inviting members of the congregation who would like to do so to contribute – there are two different options. For those who are able to stay, there will be opportunities for small group discussions (up to 45 minutes) after each service on 19 Feb and 5 March. Or, for anyone who is not able to stay after the service but would like to be involved, very short Q&A sheets will be available on 19 Feb and thereafter to take away and return to us later. The closing date is 5 March.
Whichever option is right for you we hope that you will want to contribute as we seek to discern God’s will for us as a church community. The PCC will consider your responses in developing our Mission Action Plan for 2023 and beyond.
